Welcome to the Pisgah Forest Elementary School Technology 2016 Showcase!
According to P21's Framework for 21st Century Learning, learning and innovation skills increasingly are being recognized as the skills that separate students who are prepared for increasingly complex life and work environments in the 21st century, and those who are not. A focus on creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration are essential to prepare students for the future. Let’s give a “high five” to our teachers who seamlessly integrate 21st Century technology skills in their lessons. Here are some examples of what’s been happening in the way of technology-enriched lessons at Pisgah Forest Elementary School. In addition, our teachers also incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics) content for guiding student inquiry in our showcase. We hope you enjoy this year's PFE Tech Showcase.
