On February 27th, Brevard High School announced the Class of 2026 Junior Marshals. This academic achievement is reserved for students in the top 10% of their classes’ weighted GPA. It is a nationally recognized award and indicates a strong dedication to academic success.
The Class of 2026 Junior Marshals are: Ella Higgins, Paige Dinsdale, Ian Merritt, Jack Gresham, Keirra Hurst, Victoria Brown, Greysen Motley, Luke Weaver, Janielynn Fowler, Jacob Grosvenor, Jovi Powers, Jack Friedman, Benjamin Kessinger, Josh Poche’, Cole Cubbison, Liam Ransdell, Kellston Arbogast , Ella Burdette, and Mckayla Chambers.
Led by Chief Junior Marshal Ella Higgins and Co-Chief Junior Marshal Paige Dinsdale, the Class of 2026 Junior Marshals will be honored guests and escort the BHS Senior Class at this year's graduation ceremony on June 6th, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Brevard Music Center.

Congratulations to the BHS Swim Team who placed 1st at Conference and several moved on to State competition this past weekend with the following results:
Julia Sherrill got 3rd place in the 50 free style
Josh Poche got 4th place in the 200 free style and 5th place in the 100 back
Women’s Medley Relay placed 11th
Women’s 400 Free Relay placed 5th
Overall the Women’s team placed 14th in the State
Overall the Men’s team placed 23rd in the State

How about a live goat birth in Animal Science class-- that is what these students got to experience today. Then a trip to the vet with the goats for Vet Tech students to get the second kid out.
