Professional Learning and CEU Information

Introduction

Transylvania County Schools believes that an ongoing program of focused, relevant professional development represents one important cornerstone of effective professional practice. Notwithstanding the specific requirements associated with license renewal, a quality professional development program not only supports the further development of existing knowledge and skills, but also supports the acquisition of new skills and strategies to improve professional performance and effectiveness. Please contact our office or your school's principal with any questions you may have as you begin to explore the options and professional development resources available to you as an employee of Transylvania County Schools.

Request CEU Credit

We use the LINQ Enterprise Management Solutions for K-12 to manage our professional development. Please use Timekeeper to sign in for workshops and training offered through TCS or to request CEU credit from outside workshops (from providers like NCDPI, WRESA, and so on). Please check with your school's professional development contact with any questions or contact the human resources office.
