TCS Educators recently attended a two day conference in Hickory with Gear Up and NPSI (National Postsecondary Strategy Institute). Gear UP and NPSI work together to support TCS through creating opportunities for students to explore career paths and post secondary plans (education, employment, and enlistment). TCS is the recipient of a grant from Gear Up that will provide funds and guidance for seven years. This year, the target population is 6th and 7th graders. A new grade will be added each year for the grant.
