TCS Teachers and staff enjoyed the first Wellness Day-- a concept Superintendent Fletcher made come to life. Activities included yoga, hiking, volleyball, cooking, crafting and of course coffee and a hug challenge! TC Henderson Elementary students took part in NC Crunch today-- a program that creates awareness of local produce. The apples they "crunched" were from Henderson County. Then the students voted on which one they liked the best. #TeachingEveryoneTakesEveryone

Many North Carolina colleges and universities participate in C2C (countdown to college) by waiving application fees during College Application Week (CAW), which begins on October 21 at 7:30 a.m. and ends on October 27 at 11:59 p.m.

With North Carolina’s new simplified application program, public high school seniors with a weighted 2.8 GPA or above can easily apply to participating UNC System universities and their local North Carolina community college.
All eligible students have to do is complete a simplified application, maintain their GPA, and meet graduation and UNC System requirements. That's right - no essays!
